We would sincerely love to thank Mark, allie and his team for doing a fabulous job on selling our unique, eclectic and beautiful home in 7 days! Mark totally understood our " winky wonky" 140 year old home and said all you need is just one person to love it as much as you do ..and they found a gorgeous couple who shared our appreciation tenfold. To see the excitement and love on their faces was more than we could have hoped for - after 20 years it makes moving on bearable. The team at CE made the sale seemless and Marks tips on preparation for sale by "showing it some love" really hit home and it really helped us getting through the 4 months of hard work. The surprise on Mark's face at the end of the 4 months was a beautiful thing to see, he totally appreciated all the effort we had put in and made a massive difference to the final price we received.

We have had investment properties in Victoria, SA and NT and therefore had plenty of real estate and letting agents over the journey. I would had to say that Mike Pethick is the best of them all. He went far beyond his remit to prepare our property for sale and to our mind is the model for what real estate is all about. He then handed the property to Ali Burdett who was able to get 2 buyers before it was released to market. Being in Darwin these people filled us with so much confidence they would get the job done.

After having my property managed by another agency for several years I made a decision to change agents to CE Property group. Best thing I ever did. The staff were understanding of my difficult situation, provided me with different options, went above and beyond to help maintain the property since I live interstate and were great communicators throughout the process. Having been with another agent for around fifteen months without a single genuine prospective buyer having inspected our property and due to what we considered a lack of communication or advice we elected to swap agents and go with CE Property Group.
A lengthy conversation with Mark one evening made us realise that the price set by the previous agent was unrealistic and this had led to us also having unrealistic expectations. His advice was simple – we have a good idea what the land is worth, we have a good idea what the building and other improvements are worth but what we don’t know is what people would be willing to pay for the stunning view.
The initial price set by CE generated increased interest in our property but it wasn’t until we made a further price adjustment that we found a buyer. CE staff were fantastic to deal with at all times and always respected our wants and needs whilst also providing sound and competent advice. At no time were we every pressured to amend pricing. Communication was nothing short of excellent and ongoing even when there was limited interest, or the market was quiet.
From our perspective changing agents was a positive move as we got a contract on our property in less than three months thanks to CE. We achieved a price that we are more than happy with and the service provided by the CE team was nothing short of exceptional. Consequently, we have no hesitation in recommending the CE Property Group to anyone considering selling their property.
