Australia's Biggest Morning Tea

We are hosting Australia's Biggest Morning Tea for the community on Friday, 23rd May!

Join us for this year's Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and help us to raise much needed funds for the thousands of Australians who are impacted by cancer every year. Everyone's invited!

Thanks to the generosity of Birdwood High School and the Birdwood Institute, you will be served sweet and savoury treats by the School's aspiring cooks, in one of the town's oldest and much loved community venues. You will also have the opportunity to purchase barista coffee made by the School's students, with all proceeds going to Cancer Council SA.

Whilst you enjoy your morning tea and meet with other community members, you'll hear from our Guest Speaker, Paul Morton from Cancer Council SA, about the importance of fundraising and how funds are used for life-saving research, prevention campaigns and support programs.

What's an event without prizes? We really want this event to be fun so we've sourced various items, kindly donated by local businesses, for our Raffle, Auction and Table Quiz! So bring some extra pennies to get involved.

Tickets are just $20 and include:
- a selection of sweet and savoury treats
- tea, filtered coffee, juice and water
- one entry into the Door Prize
**Please advise of any dietary requirements including allergies to nuts, gluten, wheat, soy or dairy at the ticket of booking.**

For those who love a good, freshly brewed barista coffee, these will be available to purchase and all proceeds will be added to our fundraising tally.

Buy your tickets online or in-person at our Birdwood office (37 Shannon Street, opposite the High School).

Can’t make this event? No problems! You can still help us to reach our fundraising goal of $2,000 by donating directly to Cancer Council SA. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you'll receive a receipt from CCSA via email for your records.
